You might not have high expectations for an email provider. Nor did I. I then began using Tuta Mail. The security and privacy of this service are well-known. However, I was taken aback by how much more productive it made me.
My Tuta Mail Usage
I switched to Tuta Mail for my important emails. My other inboxes started to clear out. I was no longer bombarded with Google accounts, with their newsletters and promotions. Before I made the transition, I had no idea how much time I was wasting.
I divide my emails as follows:
- Tuta Mail: For matters of urgency and privacy (bank, time reports, note etc).
- Google Email: For marketing, newsletters, and non-urgent email.
This change simplified my inbox management.

Less distractions help me concentrate better. My amount of screen time decreased. My mornings grew more serene. I go right to work now. I avoid going through tons of emails. This update goes beyond email management. Regaining control over my time and attention is the goal.
